Baguley Athletic FC is expanding our "on site" media team! We are looking for dedicated, creative individuals who want to capture the drama, the passion, and the stories of our season.

Whether you're a student looking for industry experience, a freelancer wanting to sharpen your skills, or a football fanatic with a creative eye, we want to hear from you.

The Roles We Need

We are building a fully functional, collaborative media squad. Apply for the new role that fits your passion:

Club Photographer

• Action Photography: Freezing high-energy match moments, including tackles, diving saves, headers and goals.
• Emotion & Atmosphere: Capturing the raw feelings of the game, such as dressing room huddles, post goal celebrations, and the expressions of managers and fans on the sidelines.
• Official Team Assets: Taking structured photos, including the annual squad photo, individual player head-shots for the website/programme, and the signing day announcements.
• Sponsor & Community Coverage: Ensuring sponsor logos on shirts, and community events (like charity days) are prominently featured.

Club Interviewer

• Pre Match Briefings: Chatting with the manager/captain prior to the fixture about team news, tactical expectations, and thoughts on the opposition.
• Rapid Post Match Reactions: Catching managers and key players immediately after the final whistle - while the adrenaline is still pumping - to get raw, honest breakdowns of the performance.
• Scripting & Question Prep: Conducting lighthearted, casual interviews (like "player of the match" chats or rapid fire Q&As) to highlight the dressing room banter and make the players relatable to the local community.
• On-Camera Hosting: Acting as the club's on-screen host, introducing matchday broadcasts, reading out lineups, or presenting club announcements.

Short Form Content Creator

• Filming quick clips of goals, celebrations, warm ups, and dramatic moments from the touchline.
• Player & Fan Interviews: Doing rapid fire , lighthearted player profiles, post match reactions, or sideline chats with supporters/sponsors.
• Behind-the-Scenes Content: Sharing funny dressing room banter, training ground drills, and team arrivals.
• Trend & Audio Integration: Pairing local football footage with trending audio tracks, memes, and challenges to boost visibility on social algorithms.
• Club Promotion: Highlighting upcoming fixtures, sponsor shout outs and recruiting new players or volunteers

What You Need

• Your Own Equipment: Camera gear for photographers/videographers, laptop/smartphone for journalists and live content.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a passion for grassroots football
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a creative team

Please Note: All positions are voluntary. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a tangible portfolio, gain exposure, and network within the local sports industry.

This role requires ON SITE work, and should only be applied for if you live within a reasonable distance from Manchester or are realistically able to attend (applications will be automatically rejected if you are listed as living out of the area)
