Are you an experienced Supply Chain or Production Planner with strong S/4 HANA knowledge and a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for an Asset Planner to join a global manufacturing and supply chain operation, supporting third-party production partners across Europe.
The RoleYou'll be responsible for creating and managing production plans, coordinating materials and inventory, and ensuring products are manufactured and delivered on time. Acting as a key link between suppliers, production partners, procurement, logistics, and supply chain teams, you'll play a vital role in maintaining efficient operations and uninterrupted supply.
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain production plans across a 12-month planning horizon
- Execute production and purchasing activities through SAP S/4 HANA
- Manage raw material, packaging, and label requirements to support manufacturing schedules
- Coordinate suppliers, toll manufacturers, and logistics partners to meet delivery targets
- Monitor inventory levels and drive stock optimisation
- Lead regular production review meetings and KPI reporting
- Resolve supply chain challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience in materials planning, production planning, or supply chain planning
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, MRP, and ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Additional European language skills would be advantageous
- £20.30 per hour
- 36-hour working week
- Hybrid working model: 3 days in the Manchester office and 2 days working from home
- Initial training will be 100% office-based for the first few weeks
