Lunchtime Supervisor - Childcare Experience
North Manchester | Part-Time | November Start
Aspire People are looking for a caring and reliable Lunchtime Supervisor to support pupils within a primary school in North Manchester.
This role would suit someone with previous experience working with children through schools, nurseries, childcare settings, clubs or similar environments.
The Role:
* Supervising children during lunchtime
* Supporting pupils during indoor and outdoor play
* Encouraging positive social interaction
* Supporting children to develop independence
* Helping maintain a calm and safe lunchtime environment
* Promoting positive behaviour and good manners
* Supporting children who may need additional help
* Monitoring pupils and reporting concerns to school staff
* Working collaboratively with teachers and other lunchtime staff
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting
* Early Years experience would be advantageous
* Patient, nurturing and approachable
* Confident managing groups of children
* Able to respond calmly to behavioural situations
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Reliable and professional
* Strong understanding of safeguarding
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 11:20am - 1:20pm
* 10 hours per week
* Starting November
* Role continuing until the end of the academic year
