We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic individual to join our established team.
Reporting to our Treasury & Tax Managerg, our Treasury Assistant is responsible for managing the Group’s daily banking transactions, ensuring accurate and timely allocation of payments within Open Accounts, administering corporate credit and debit cards, and supporting payment processes in line with audit, compliance, and confidentiality requirements. The role focuses on continuous improvement, building strong working relationships across the business, and supporting the delivery of The MSV Way by putting excellent customer service and organisational values at the heart of service delivery.
In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities.
What does our Treasury Assistant do;
- Manage daily and monthly banking activities, including bank statement processing, reconciliations, cashbook journals, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Administer corporate credit and debit card processes, ensuring transactions are reconciled, expenses are verified, and company policies are adhered to.
- Support treasury and cashflow management by maintaining reporting records, monitoring transactions, and contributing to regulatory and financial returns.
- Process payments, bank transfers, and supplier bank detail verification, ensuring compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial procedures.
- Build effective relationships across the business to resolve queries, meet deadlines, identify process improvements, and deliver a high-quality finance service.
What we are looking for;
- Experience working in a finance environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently deliver to deadlines.
- Strong organisational, administrative, and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage and analyse financial information effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience building positive working relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- A relevant finance qualification or working towards one (such as AAT or part-qualified accountant status) would be desirable, alongside a commitment to continuous professional development.
