Role- Welder Fabricator

Location - Eccles

Salary - Up to £18ph

Hours Mon - Fri 7am - 3pm

Ideal Candidates will be fully trained in all aspects of fabrication and welding, must to able to TIG weld thin gauge aluminium 1mm-3mm and MIG weld steel 1mm-3mm, also manufacture from customer drawings.

This role is based in a fast paced and busy manufacturing environment focussing on 1 offs and small batches with a fast turn around.

The ideal person will have strong practical abilities, enjoy working with tools and machinery and have a strong work ethic. You will be reliable, hard-working good timekeeper who is honest and not afraid of getting dirty in this hands on occupation. You must be willing to work as part of a team making your contribution to the efficiency and quality of the work being done.

Work Activities

• Undertake all aspects of Fabrication of sheet metal components from part and customer assembly drawings
• Ensuring all quality checks are taken and the work orders are fully completed to show all checks
• Querying any drawing/material discrepancies with the shift supervisor before proceeding with manufacture
• Carry out general duties as required by the shift supervisor
