We are particularly interested in speaking with Early Years practitioners who want to secure a long-term position within a school, allowing you to become part of the school community, build meaningful relationships with children and families and play a consistent role in pupils' development throughout the year.
What we're looking for
You must hold a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification and have practical experience working within an EYFS environment, ideally across both Nursery and school-based settings.
You'll also bring:
A good working knowledge of the EYFS Framework and how children develop across the areas of learning.
Experience of supporting learning through play and exploration.
A working knowledge of phonics and early language development.
Experience using and developing continuous provision.
Confidence contributing to observations and assessment to identify progress and next steps.
An understanding of how to adapt activities to meet different stages of development.
Good safeguarding knowledge and an understanding of your responsibilities within an Early Years environment.
Experience supporting children with SEND is beneficial, although not essential.
More than anything...
We're looking for practitioners with a genuine passion for Early Years.
You'll understand just how important these first experiences of education are and be committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, happy and excited to learn.
You'll encourage curiosity, independence, communication and confidence, using children's interests and purposeful play to create meaningful opportunities for learning and development.
Why Aspire People?
£95-£115 per day, depending on experience and role.
Full-time, long-term opportunities.
Opportunities to become an established member of a school community.
