Teacher of Travel and Tourism - Manchester

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting! We have an urgent requirement for a Teacher of Travel and Tourism to join an Ofsted Outstanding sixth form college in central Manchester during a period of temporary staff absence.

This is a part-time supply role, three days per week - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, teaching Travel and Tourism across Lower and Upper Sixth.

The Role

You will teach a combination of coursework and exam units, including:

  • The World of Travel and Tourism - Lower Sixth, exam unit (January 2027)
  • UK Tourist Destinations - Upper Sixth, coursework unit
  • The Development of UK Tourism - Lower Sixth, coursework unit

The successful teacher will teach across Lower and Upper Sixth on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

You will be joining one of the largest sixth form colleges in the country, located in the centre of Manchester.

Requirements

To be considered for this Travel and Tourism Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification for secondary or post-compulsory education, such as PGCE/QTS or PCET/QTLS
  • Have relevant experience teaching Travel and Tourism
  • Be confident teaching post-16 students across coursework and exam units
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Provide professional references and a full employment/education history
  • Be willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check
