The Manchester College is seeking a qualified and experienced Education & Early Years Lecturer to join the Education & Early Years department on a full-time temporary basis until October half term.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of Education & Early Years programmes, supporting both 16-18-year-old learners and Adult learners. The successful candidate will also provide tutorial support and be flexible to work across multiple college campuses depending on operational requirements.
Role Details- Job Title: Education & Early Years Lecturer
- Full-time, 5 days per week
- £35 per hour
- Immediate start available
- Temporary contract until October half term
- Teaching across Education & Early Years programmes
- Delivering tutorial and learner support sessions
- Working with both 16-18 and Adult learners
- Based at Openshaw, Harpurhey and/or Wythenshawe Campus as required
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across Education & Early Years programmes.
- Support learners to achieve their academic and personal development goals.
- Deliver tutorial sessions and provide pastoral support where required.
- Assess learner work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Monitor learner attendance, progress and achievement.
- Maintain accurate learner records and documentation.
- Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to support learner success.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent).
- Previous Further Education teaching experience.
- Experience delivering Education and/or Early Years qualifications.
- Ability to teach both 16-18-year-old and Adult learners.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work across multiple campuses when required.
- Enhanced DBS certificate available for review.
- Previous experience delivering tutorial sessions.
- Experience supporting learners within the Further Education sector.
- Knowledge of current Education & Early Years curriculum requirements.
- Competitive rate of £35 per hour.
- Full-time hours, 5 days per week.
