SALARY: £36,000 to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Benefits

LOCATION: Covering sites across North West England

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00, 42.5 hours per week with one hour for lunch

JOB OVERVIEW

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrician to join a growing facilities management operation with training and development supported.

The Electrician will help keep estate electrical systems safe and reliable through planned maintenance, reactive repairs, installation, testing and inspection.

Working to required standards and deadlines, the Electrician will also complete PPM records, inspection sheets and RAMS, share knowledge with colleagues and support safe working across the wider building-services environment.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Electrician include:

• Electrical Installation and Testing: Install electrical systems and carry out testing and inspection of existing installations
• PPM and Remedial Maintenance: Complete routine electrical planned preventative maintenance and associated remedial work
• Reactive Electrical Repairs: Respond to electrical reactive calls and complete repairs within capability
• Standards and Deadlines: Complete work to required standards and deadlines
• Safe Working and Procedures: Follow working practices, methods, procedures and health and safety requirements, responding positively to new systems and relevant training
• Documentation and Records: Complete PPM paperwork, inspection sheets, RAMS and other required records accurately
• Team Support and Knowledge Sharing: Welcome new starters, provide peer support, cascade learning through toolbox talks where authorised and share company updates
• Related Building Systems: Support the operation, maintenance and repair of relevant building systems within capability

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

• Substantial, relevant experience in a commercial environment
• Fully qualified with completed AM2
• 18th Edition qualification
• Valid UK driving licence
• CSCS Skill Card
• Confident completing PPM paperwork, inspection sheets and RAMS
• Able to work routinely in line with health and safety requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

DESIRABLE

• 2391 Test and Inspect qualification
• Good working knowledge of the building services environment and other disciplines
