Are you an experienced Private Client Tax Professional looking for a role where you can take ownership of complex advisory work, develop senior client relationships and play a key role in growing a Tax Advisory offering?

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a Mid sized accountancy firm to recruit a Private Client Tax Director into their Manchester team.

This is a role combining technical Tax Advisory, client relationship management and business development, with the opportunity to work closely with business owners, shareholders and senior management on a broad range of strategic tax matters.

The Role:

You will play a key role in delivering and growing the firm's Tax Advisory offering, acting as a trusted adviser to clients and working closely with Partners and colleagues across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of high quality, commercially focused tax advisory work.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, shareholders and senior stakeholders.
• Advise on a broad range of strategic tax matters, including business structuring, reorganisations, acquisitions and disposals, succession and exit planning and shareholder matters.
• Identify and develop new Tax Advisory opportunities across existing clients and the wider market.
• Work collaboratively with Corporate Finance, Accounting, Audit and other specialist teams to deliver a joined-up client service.
• Contribute to the continued development of the firm's Tax Advisory offering and identify opportunities for new services and market growth.
• Build relationships with professional advisers and introducers to generate new opportunities.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience within a professional services, accountancy or tax advisory environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK taxation.
• Proven experience delivering complex tax advisory solutions.
• CTA qualified is desirable, alongside ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience working with owner-managed businesses and privately owned groups
