Scaffolding Learning Coach - #2154851

Our client, a specialist provider in education and vocational training, is seeking a Scaffolding Learning Coach to support apprentices studying the Level 2 Scaffolding Standard in Wythenshawe. This permanent role involves coaching, mentoring, tutoring and assessing learners through classroom, workshop and workplace-based delivery.

• Manage an agreed caseload of scaffolding apprentices and provide regular coaching, mentoring and learner interventions
• Deliver engaging training and knowledge sessions in classroom, workshop and workplace environments
• Develop individualised learning programmes covering occupational skills, knowledge and behaviours, including Maths and English
• Monitor and record progress, reviews, evidence of achievement and off-the-job training requirements accurately and on time
• Work collaboratively with employers and line managers to support learning opportunities and learner development
• Prepare learners and employers for the end-point assessment process
• Provide accurate marking, constructive feedback and appropriate support to help learners achieve their qualifications
• Work with internal quality assurance colleagues, produce progress reports and contribute to high-quality learning materials

• Relevant scaffolding sector experience and occupational qualifications at Level 2 or above
• Experience in delivering high-quality coaching, training or assessment that meets individual learner needs
• CISRS competence to teach as a Level 2 scaffolding instructor is desirable
• Functional Skills Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT, or equivalent qualifications, or willingness to undertake them
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners
• Ability to plan effectively, manage a caseload and work towards learner achievement and performance targets
• Understanding of apprenticeship delivery, government-funded training and end-point assessment requirements
• A coaching, teaching or assessment qualification, such as Cert Ed, CTLLS, DTLLS, TAQA, A1 or D32/33, would be advantageous
