Description

The Intellectual Property Partner will be:

• Building and leading the firm's Intellectual Property practice, taking ownership of its continued growth.
• Advising clients on contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including trade marks, copyright, design rights, patents and licensing.
• Working closely with the corporate and commercial teams to identify opportunities and provide joined-up advice to existing clients.
• Developing strong relationships with businesses across a range of industries and acting as a trusted adviser on IP strategy and protection.
• Playing an active role in business development, profile raising and expanding the firm's IP client base.

Profile

The Intellectual Property Partner should be:

• A solicitor or equivalent with significant PQE and a strong track record in Intellectual Property law.
• Experienced across a broad spectrum of IP matters, including trade marks, copyright, design rights, patents and licensing.
• Comfortable advising on both contentious and non-contentious IP matters.
• Commercially minded, with the confidence to build relationships and generate opportunities from existing and new clients.
• Capable of taking ownership of a specialist IP practice and driving its future development.
• Collaborative in approach and comfortable working alongside corporate and commercial lawyers to provide wider client solutions.
