Description

The successful Professional Support Lawyer would be:

• Leading and developing know-how across commercial contracts and data protection, keeping teams informed of important legal developments.
• Working closely with lawyers and wider teams to develop precedents, practice notes, working practices and knowledge resources.
• Advising on and supporting the effective use of AI tools, alongside wider innovation and process improvement initiatives.
• Identifying learning needs and developing and delivering training, workshops and supporting materials to lawyers and wider teams.
• Producing high-quality client content including legal updates, articles and briefings, while helping lawyers develop timely and impactful thought leadership.

Profile

The successful Professional Support Lawyer will be:

• A solicitor or equivalent with strong experience in commercial contracts and data protection.
• An experienced commercial lawyer with the technical ability to research and interpret complex points of law.
• Interested in legal knowledge management, innovation, technology and the practical application of AI within legal services.
• Comfortable developing precedents, practice materials, training and client-facing legal content.
• A confident communicator who can collaborate with lawyers and multidisciplinary teams across the wider business.
