Position: Religious Education (RE) Teacher

Astro Education is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Greater Manchester area on a long-term, full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons while supporting students to achieve their full potential.

• Teaching Religious Education across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
• Marking and assessing students' work in line with school expectations
• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the RE department and wider school
• Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching RE at secondary level
• Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Able to plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
• Organised, reliable and committed to supporting students
• A positive and professional approach to working with pupils and colleagues
