TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Manchester who are looking to appoint an English Teacher. The school provides education to students across the secondary age range and is looking for a committed teacher to join their team.

The school is looking to take on an English Teacher on a full-time, long-term temporary basis, starting ASAP. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards of classroom management.

The successful English Teacher will have:

• QTS with an English specialism
• Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the English curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
