Aspire People are recruiting experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the local area.

We are looking for confident and experienced HLTAs who are comfortable taking responsibility for groups of pupils, delivering interventions and supporting teachers with the wider running of the classroom.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA looking for a new long-term position or someone looking to take the next step in their education career.

The Role:

* Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Leading small-group learning and intervention sessions
* Covering classes where required
* Supporting PPA and teacher absence
* Working with pupils who require additional support
* Supporting phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions
* Helping manage positive behaviour and classroom routines
* Providing guidance and support to Teaching Assistants where appropriate
* Working alongside teachers and SENCOs
* Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback
* Contributing to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate:

* Holds an HLTA qualification or equivalent relevant experience
* Strong previous experience within a primary school
* Confident leading groups of pupils independently
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Able to adapt support to different pupil needs
* Excellent communication and organisation
* Reliable, proactive and professional
* SEND experience is desirable
