Hays Education LeadershipAre you an experienced Primary Senior Leader looking for your next interim opportunity?Hays Education Leadership is working in partnership with a number of primary schools across Greater Manchester seeking experienced and adaptable Deputy Headteachers and Assistant Headteachers to provide interim leadership support on an ongoing basis.These assignments offer the opportunity to make an immediate impact within schools, supporting leadership teams through periods of change, improvement, staff absence, or recruitment transitions.
The RoleAs an Interim Primary Leader, you will work closely with Headteachers, Trust Leaders, staff, and governors to support the effective day-to-day leadership and strategic direction of the school. Opportunities may include:

• Leading teaching and learning across the school
• Driving school improvement priorities
• Supporting curriculum development and assessment
• Managing safeguarding and pastoral responsibilities
• Coaching and developing teaching staff
• Leading on behaviour, attendance, and inclusion initiatives
• Supporting Ofsted preparation and improvement planning
• Acting as Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher, or undertaking additional leadership responsibilities as required

The Ideal CandidateWe are keen to hear from experienced:

• Deputy Headteachers
• Assistant Headteachers
• Current or recently serving Senior Leaders within primary education
• Leaders with a proven track record of school improvement

You will possess:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience within a primary school senior leadership position
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to quickly build credibility and positive relationships
• A flexible and solutions-focused approach
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
