Assistant Commercial Accountant | Hybrid Working Available | Study Support.

The Role
As Assistant Commercial Accountant, you'll be responsible for producing accurate and insightful commercial reporting that helps drive business performance across Finance, Operations and Marketing.
Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing weekly Executive Board packs, consolidating key financial and operational KPIs and highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Producing regular commercial reports for Operations and Marketing teams, providing clear commentary and performance insights.
• Ensuring accurate labour reporting through weekly and month-end processes.
• Preparing weekly margin analysis and performance reporting using the company's reporting systems.
• Supporting operational teams with analysis, performance reporting and commercial insight to aid decision-making.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and latest estimate processes, including variance analysis and data validation.
• Producing ad hoc analysis and reporting to support business objectives and improve performance.

About You
You'll be part-qualified ACCA/CIMA and have recent experience of month-end accounting with a genuine interest in the commercial drivers behind business performance. You enjoy working with large volumes of data, have strong analytical and Excel skills, and can confidently translate financial information into meaningful insights for non-finance stakeholders. You'll be organised, detail-focused and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while building strong relationships across the business. A personable, friendly and team-orientated manner is essential.
