Are you a confident, customer-focused individual who enjoys a varied role combining, sales and hands-on operational duties?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a   Sales   Advisor to join a successful and established business. Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for pr maximising sales opportunities through enquires and face to face customers and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site.

This is a varied role, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable speaking with customers to sell the different packages available through upselling handling administration and getting involved with practical, hands-on duties, including forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deal with customer enquiries both face-to-face and over the telephone
  
  
• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate advice on products and services
  
  
• Identify and maximise sales opportunities to achieve individual and business targets
  
  
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
  
  
• Complete administration accurately and in line with company procedures
  
  
• Operate a forklift as required - training can be given
  
  
• Carry out regular checks of the site and ensure standards are maintained
  
  
• Maintain a clean, tidy and professional working environment
  
  
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
  
  
• Support with customer accounts and outstanding payments where required
  
  
• Work independently when required, including lone working
  
  
• Take responsibility for the site when required in the absence of management
  
  
• Assist with general operational and ad hoc duties
  
  

About YouWe're looking for someone who is:

• Has experience of sales and upselling products in a face to face environment
• Converting equires to sales and upselling products
• Closing sales and managing contracts.
• Confident and professional when dealing with customers
• A strong communicator with excellent listening skills
• Comfortable working towards sales targets
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach
• Organised and attentive to detail
• Happy working in a small team environment
• Comfortable working independently and using their own initiative
• Practical and willing to get involved with the operational side of the role
• Reliable and confident following procedures
• Happy to work weekends on a shift basis.

• Experienced in forklift or happy to be trained
