Senior Project Manager Construction Consultancy - #2151612

A growing property and construction consultancy in Manchester is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its project management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with experience across residential, office, and hotel projects to take ownership of varied commissions and play a key role in delivering high-quality developments across the city.

The Senior Project Manager will lead projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. This Senior Project Manager role would suit a confident Senior Project Manager who is comfortable managing multidisciplinary teams, client relationships, programme, risk, reporting, and overall project delivery. The successful Senior Project Manager will join an ambitious consultancy with a strong Manchester presence and clear opportunities for long-term progression.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Senior Project Manager will lead residential, office, and hotel projects through both pre-contract and post-contract stages.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, procurement, consultant coordination, contract administration, risk management, change control, project reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

The Senior Project Manager will chair meetings, monitor contractor performance, manage client expectations, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality. They will also support junior colleagues where required and help maintain strong standards across the wider project management team.

The successful Senior Project Manager will have:

• Prior experience working within a construction consultancy
• Strong experience delivering residential, office, hotel, or similar property projects
• Experience leading projects from inception through to completion
• A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline
• MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or another relevant professional qualification
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and project delivery
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consultant teams
• The ability to manage multiple commissions simultaneously
• A proactive, commercially aware, and professional approach
