Business Analyst - #2151609

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a strategic initiative focused on documenting and rationalising end-to-end IT service and operational processes. The organisation is building a comprehensive knowledge base that will underpin future agentic AI and automation capabilities across the business.This role will work closely with subject-matter experts across multiple teams to capture how services are currently delivered, identify overlaps and inefficiencies, and create clear process documentation that can be used to inform future AI-enabled workflows.The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong business analysis fundamentals, particularly in process mapping, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with SMEs and stakeholders across IT and business functions to understand current processes and ways of working.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to elicit requirements and capture operational knowledge.
• Document end-to-end business and IT processes using appropriate process mapping techniques.
• Analyse and rationalise processes across multiple teams, identifying duplication, inconsistencies, and opportunities for standardisation.
• Produce clear, structured documentation suitable for both business and technical audiences.
• Develop a central knowledge repository that accurately reflects current-state operations.
• Work collaboratively with teams including:
  • Information Security
  • AI & Innovation
  • Service Design
  • Service Transition
• Support the identification of processes that may be suitable for future automation and agent-based AI solutions.
• Translate complex operational activities into simple, understandable process documentation without relying on technical jargon.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Business Analyst within IT, Digital, or Transformation environments.
• Strong process mapping and business process modelling experience.
• Excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience facilitating workshops and interviewing subject-matter experts.
• Ability to document complex processes in a clear, structured, and consistent manner.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify overlaps, gaps, and inefficiencies across multiple processes.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating process documentation, workflows, user journeys, operating procedures, or knowledge management artefacts.
