Accounts Assistant - #2150957

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Client in their established and growing Finance Team in Manchester.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function across a range of accounting activities
• Processing purchase and sales invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations
• Supporting the preparation of journals, accruals, and prepayments
• Assisting with month-end procedures and management reporting
• Investigating and resolving account queries and discrepancies
• Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve financial queries
• Providing general support to the wider finance team and assisting with ad-hoc projects

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Good understanding of general accounting processes and financial administration
• Experience with reconciliations, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records
• Good Excel and IT skills with the ability to learn new finance systems quickly
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to develop within a finance career
