Senior Finance Manager - Group Reporting - #2150952

Robert Half has partnered with a large, complex listed business to recruit for a Senior Finance Manager - Group Reporting Transformation.

**Must be available to start in December**

This is a high-profile opportunity to join a major Finance Transformation programme, where you will lead the future design of Group Reporting, Consolidation and External Reporting as the business moves towards a new finance technology environment.

The role

• Lead the future-state design of Group Consolidation, Group Reporting and External Reporting.
• Provide subject matter expertise across consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, group adjustments and reporting processes.
• Work closely with senior Finance stakeholders, technology teams, auditors and finance teams across the wider organisation.
• Lead workshops to translate complex reporting requirements into practical process and system solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, automation, data quality and the efficiency of the financial close.
• Take ownership of business testing, including consolidation runs, reporting outputs, data migration and UAT.
• Support implementation, adoption and the transition into the new reporting environment.

About you

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with substantial experience in Group Reporting, Consolidation or External Reporting.

You will ideally have:

• Senior-level experience within a large listed or multinational organisation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Experience working across multiple entities, business units or jurisdictions.
• A strong understanding of intercompany, group adjustments, close governance and audit requirements.
• Experience improving finance processes, controls or operating models through transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with senior Finance and Technology stakeholders.
• The ability to translate technical accounting and reporting requirements into practical business and system solutions.

SAP S/4HANA, SAP Group Reporting, SAP Activate, Signavio or Celonis experience would be beneficial, but is not essential. The key requirement is strong Group Reporting expertise combined with the ability to operate effectively within a major transformation programme.
