This Junior Accountant role supports the accounting and finance team. You will be involved in essential financial tasks that help keep the business running smoothly.

Description

• Assist with preparing financial statements and reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Posting journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintaining general ledger.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Monitor budgets and track expenses.
• Provide support during internal and external audits.
• Maintain financial data and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with the finance team on various ad-hoc projects.

Profile

A successful Junior Accountant should have:

• Part-qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be qualified by experience.
• A solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience working with accounting software and tools similar to SAP and Oracle.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
