Employment Law Product Specialist -Legal Tech/AI  (Home based role)

Creideas is recruiting for an exciting new opportunity with a Manchester-based legal technology client. We’re looking for an Employment Law Product Specialist to bring their employment law knowledge, analytical skills, and attention to detail into a fast-moving environment where law, AI and technology come together. This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or employment law professional who is looking to move away from traditional fee-earning and into Legal Tech.

 
The Role:
This is a hands-on quality and analysis role where your employment law expertise, data-driven approach and rigorous attention to detail will help ensure our platform delivers accurate, complete, and defensible results. You’ll work closely with Product Managers and the Development Team to test platform outputs against real-world and test data, identify errors, gaps, inconsistencies, and edge cases, and assess how the product performs across different scenarios. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a legal background who is interested in how AI and technology are changing the way legal work is delivered.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Evaluate and test platform data and outputs across a range of employment-focused assessments, ensuring quality and accuracy before release.
• Design test cases and model answers to assess platform performance across different scenarios and use cases.
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, anomalies, and edge cases, analysing patterns to help uncover root causes.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to Product Managers and developers, and validate that fixes resolve identified issues.
• Support Product Managers with day-to-day evaluations, data preparation, and competing priorities, while maintaining consistent quality standards.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, evaluation frameworks, and documentation, using sensitive data responsibly and feeding insights into product decisions.
• Contribute ideas and practical legal insight to help shape the development of new product features.
• Stay up to date with developments in legal technology and AI and consider how these could improve the platform.
• Act as a key link between legal expertise and product development, helping translate legal requirements into practical improvements within the platform.

 
Working pattern:
This is a fully remote, home-based role, working Monday to Friday | 9am–5pm | 35 hours per week. The team currently meet in the office once a month for a team catch-up, with the office based in Manchester.
 
The individual
We’re looking for someone who combines strong legal knowledge with curiosity, attention to detail and a genuine interest in technology and AI.
 
You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience working with employment disputes, either in a legal or HR environment. This could be as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or HR professional with relevant employment experience.
• A good understanding of the information and processes involved in employment disputes and their resolution.
• An analytical and data-oriented mindset, with the ability to spot patterns, anomalies and quality issues. You don’t need to be highly technical – curiosity and logical thinking are more important.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing, investigation and documentation.
• A naturally curious and constructively sceptical approach – you’ll be comfortable questioning whether an output is genuinely correct and defensible, rather than simply plausible.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and precise feedback to both Product and Development colleagues
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across different workstreams.
• A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-moving product environment.
• A genuine interest in Legal Tech, AI and the future of legal services.
