We are hiring for an experienced Conveyancing paralegal to start asap to join our clients Residential Conveyancing team in Manchester City Centre to assist in every day running of conveyancing matters from start to finish.

The joining individual will be confident with dealing with clients over the phone and emails, be passionate about conveyancing and keen to learn and progress. You will be a proactive and reliable individual able to work responsibly and independently with a can-do attitude and an eye for detail.

The role will consist of working closely with the fee earning residential conveyancers to progress an array of conveyancing matters from start to finish. This will include a number of tasks as listed further below and not limited to the same.

You will be expected to already be confident with the following:

- Issuing Contracts

- dealing with sale enquiries

- Mortgage offer reviews and report

- Obtaining Land Registry documents from Land Registry/Infotrack

- Carrying out and reviewing OS1 and Bankruptcy searches

- Providing general updates to parties

- Downloading and adding to the file, documents related to the case from LMS, Lender Exchange portals

- Ordering and reviewing redemption statements

- Ordering searches and reviewing their results

- Deal with issuing post completion notices to management companies etc on Leasehold matters -Updated Lender Exchange and LMS

- Submit SDLT returns (training provided) Prior knowledge on working with LEAP crm is preferred but not essential.

- Updating Lender Exchange and LMS portals on completion of matter

Other day-to-day jobs will consist of but not limited to and including the above:

- Answering and making calls to clients, agents and other lawyers

- Setting up exchanges/completions through the system

About you:

- Minimum of 2 years Experience in conveyancing paralegal role

- Proactive and takes initiative

- Passionate about conveyancing

- Excellent client care skills and confidence when speaking on the phone

- Good literacy and numeracy skills

- Keen to have a "hands on" experience and progress

- Able to work closely with the conveyancers

- Able to work responsibly and independently
