You'll manage a varied portfolio of clients and take real ownership of their accounts and tax affairs, including:

• Preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Personal and business tax work
• VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Advising clients where appropriate and becoming a trusted point of contact
• Getting involved in tax planning, advisory work and wider practice development

You'll have plenty of variety, with the opportunity to broaden your technical and commercial experience rather than being restricted to one area of practice.

We're interested in hearing from experienced practice accountants who have:

• 4+ years' recent UK accountancy practice experience
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail
• Confidence dealing directly with clients
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving
• A genuine desire to be part of a close-knit, collaborative team

Professional qualifications are welcomed, but they're not the deciding factor. Experience, attitude and the ability to build trusted client relationships are equally important.

£30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
