Senior Buyer | Womenswear Fashion Brand | Flexi Hours + Hybrid Working

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing womenswear fashion brand at a really exciting stage of its journey.

The brand is known for creating on-trend, inclusive and high-quality womenswear, with a strong focus on fit, flattering silhouettes and pieces that make women feel confident. As the business continues to grow, they're looking for an ambitious Senior buyer to help shape the next chapter of the brand.

This is a genuinely hands-on buying role with plenty of creative and commercial influence. You'll work closely with the founders and wider team, helping to shape the range, identify new opportunities and ensure the product continues to deliver for the customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the womenswear buying strategy across key product categories

• Build trend-led, commercially strong and inclusive ranges

• Work closely with design and product teams on new collections and product development

• Have a strong focus on fit, quality, fabrication and attention to detail

• Manage the full buying process, from trend research and range building through to supplier negotiation and product selection

• Build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers

• Analyse sales and product performance to identify opportunities and drive growth

• Stay ahead of womenswear trends, customer behaviour and the competitive landscape

• Work closely with the founders, bringing ideas and commercial insight to help shape the future direction of the brand

About You

We're looking for an experienced womenswear Buyer who is passionate about product and understands what makes a fashion range commercially successful.

Experience within womenswear athleisure would be highly desirable, alongside a genuine understanding of fit, quality and the needs of a diverse female customer.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong womenswear buying experience, ideally within a fast-paced founder-led or growing brand

• A strong eye for trend, product and commercial opportunity

• Excellent understanding of fit, quality, fabrication and garment construction

• Experience working closely with founders or within a smaller, entrepreneurial business

• A hands-on approach - you'll enjoy being close to the product rather than purely managing a team

• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship-building skills

• Commercial awareness and confidence making buying decisions

• A proactive, collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset
