You will sit within the Reward team and work closely with HR, Payroll, HR Technology and project stakeholders to support the transition of key people processes into the new system.
Client Details
A key part of the role will be taking ownership from the business/HR perspective, ensuring that processes, data and calculations are accurate and that any issues arising during implementation and hypercare are identified and resolved quickly.
Description
- Support the Reward and HR teams through the go-live new system
- Provide HR/Reward input into the implementation of new sites and acquisitions, ensuring processes are fit for purpose.
- Support the transition and validation of payroll, time & attendance and Reward processes within the new system.
- Support payroll-related calculations and validation, including:
- Bonus calculations
- Pension scheme contributions
- Insurance and benefits data
- Late payment processing
- Payroll data checks and reconciliation
- Produce and manage employee letters and communications, including mail merges.
- Support the administration and communication of bonus arrangements, ensuring employee data and communications are up to date.
- Support the implementation and validation of job grading outcomes.
- Review and reconcile data between HR, payroll, pensions, benefits and other systems, identifying discrepancies and driving resolution.
- Provide insight into working time and attendance data and how this integrates with wider HR and payroll processes.
- Work with Excel-based data and spreadsheets, including helping to turn one-off acquisition spreadsheets into robust, repeatable processes.
- Investigate and resolve data and process issues, ensuring the correct employee records and outcomes are maintained.
- Work closely with the Workday implementation team, including colleagues across HR Technology and Reward.
- Liaise with third-party payroll providers and other external partners where required.
- Provide day-to-day project and operational support to the Reward team, reporting into Rob.
Profile
A successful HR Data Specialist should have:
- Experience in Reward, Compensation & Benefits, payroll or HR operations.
- Experience supporting an HR systems implementation, transformation or integration project.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data, spreadsheets and reconciliations.
- Experience working with HR and payroll systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors or ADP.
- Understanding of payroll, bonus, pension and benefits processes.
- Experience working with third-party payroll or benefits providers.
- Strong data accuracy and reconciliation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical approach to issue resolution.
- The ability to work across HR, Reward, Payroll, HR Technology and project teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge and resolve discrepancies where necessary.
Job Offer
- Salary of £45,000 dependent on the level of experience.
- Excellent benefits package.
- Hybrid Fixed term contract 6-9 months (50% office based)
