About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own range planning for specified categories, working closely with factories on production plans and presenting recommendations to the Head of Merchandising

• Reforecast, manage, buy and cancel product where required

• Review the WSSI in season and make recommendations to the HoM to maximise trading opportunities

• Monitor stock levels and flag over/under stock risks

• Manage end to end critical path for specified ranges, ensuring purchase orders are raised, confirmed, and delivered on time

• Analyse best and worst sellers weekly, providing insight to support trading decisions

• Ownership of planning and tracking of promotions, markdown, and clearance activity

• Liaise with suppliers, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve delivery or stock queries

• Work closely with buying, planning, and digital trading teams to ensure a joined-up approach to range and stock management

• Build and maintain trading trackers and reports in Excel

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong Excel skills (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables essential; SUMIFS/INDEX-MATCH a plus)

• Highly numerate with strong attention to detail

• Good analytical skills and commercial curiosity — genuinely interested in what sells and why

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities to deadlines

• Clear communicator, comfortable liaising with internal teams and external suppliers

• A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
