Business Systems Analyst - #2146110

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join a growing digital and technology team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an Agile environment, collaborating with a range of stakeholders, and delivering innovative digital solutions that improve user experience and business performance.

As part of a multidisciplinary software development team, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining a web and digital platform ecosystem. You will be responsible for gathering and analysing requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and supporting the delivery of system enhancements and new functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities within Agile software delivery projects.
• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements using a range of techniques.
• Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain process maps, system flows and solution documentation.
• Work closely with developers, testers, product owners and business stakeholders to design effective solutions.
• Support system, integration and user acceptance testing activities.
• Assist with change implementation, go-live planning and user adoption.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide ongoing business support.
• Contribute to project planning, continuous improvement initiatives and best practice development.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Experience delivering digital solutions within a CMS or website environment.
• Understanding of UX principles and web accessibility standards.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with an appreciation of Waterfall delivery methods.
• Proven experience gathering requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to produce clear documentation, including user stories, process maps, business requirements and training materials.
• Experience analysing and documenting current and future state processes.
• Understanding of software testing lifecycles, including System Testing, SIT and UAT.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational and project coordination abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Desirable

• Experience working with Sitecore or similar CMS platforms.
• Business Analysis or Agile Business Analysis certification.
• Experience within a regulated or public-sector environment.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
