Buyers Admin Assistant - #2144880

Our client a successful Online Fashion brand are  looking for a passionate and driven Buying Admin Assistant to join their growing team.  You will be supporting the buying team with all administrative tasks and take full responsibility for sample management and order chasing.   Assist in analysing market trends, maintaining relationships with suppliers, and ensuring that the product offerings remain competitive and exciting

The Role

Order Chasing

Chasing in all outstanding orders and ensuring samples are received and sealed on time.

Managing late intake and feeding back to buyer in OPO meetings.

Taking actions to prevent lateness.

Sample Management

Ensuring samples are organised efficiently, are opened in a timely manner and distributed to the correct place.

Ability to quickly pull samples when needed.

Approving production samples accurately and correctly.

Ecom shoots

Ensuring samples are on time for shoots.

Setting up the shoot sheet the day before ecom shoots.

Fits

Attending category fit sessions and taking notes where necessary.

Developments

Chases in developments and feeds back on any problem suppliers.

Assists buyer in sending out developments.

Contributes own development ideas to the team.

Trade

Has a basic understanding of how the company is trading.

Assists in pulling together trade packs - comp shops, Top 20.

Actions image amends following the bestsellers meeting.

Skills Required

• An organised, proactive, team player, with a love for fashion and keen eye for the latest trends.
• Fashion related degree or equivalent. Experience preferred but not required. 
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Keen eye for trends.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Team player with a collaborative approach.
