Your new role

As Tax Director, you will be a senior leader within the practice, responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality tax services while supporting the strategic direction and growth of the firm. You will work closely with partners and clients, acting as a trusted adviser on complex tax matters.

• Leading the tax function, ensuring the delivery of both compliance and advisory services to the highest standard
• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals
• Providing strategic tax planning advice across corporate, personal, and business tax matters
• Supporting the continued development of the firm's advisory offering
• Identifying and driving business development opportunities, including cross-selling services
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
• Leading, mentoring, and developing members of the tax team
• Contributing to the overall strategic direction of the firm as part of the leadership team

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will be a commercially minded and technically strong tax professional with proven leadership experience and a passion for client service.

• CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
• Significant experience at Senior Manager or Director level within a practice environment
• Strong technical expertise across corporate and/or personal tax
• Proven ability to deliver high-level advisory work
• Experience managing and developing client relationships
• A track record of supporting business development and firm growth
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
