Scrap Car Comparison

National Account Manager Collector Network (UK and US Growth)

Location: Flexible – anywhere in the UK

About Us
We are the clear market leader in our sector and one of the fastest-growing car buying companies in the world. In the UK we generate over 100,000 customer enquiries each month and book in tens of thousands of vehicles over the same period through our high-traffic websites and nationwide operations. We have now launched across the United States, with multiple states already live and an ambitious plan to expand nationwide.

Our rapid expansion and success have been driven by outstanding people, a strong culture, and our ability to lean into the advantages of cutting-edge technology. We are not a speculative startup. We have been established for over 15 years, are highly profitable, and have achieved this scale without external funding. That gives us both security and momentum – and yet, despite our size, we have kept the energy, excitement and ambition of a startup.

We are scaling rapidly in the US market, and the opportunity ahead is enormous. Our aim is to build one of the largest and most respected international automotive buying groups over the next five years. As part of that growth, there will also be opportunities to contribute to our expanding US collector network and support the rollout of our systems across new states.

We offer strong base salary and bonus potential, but the real game changer lies in the long-term opportunity. With the pace of our growth in both the UK and the US, we are exploring ways to provide equity-style participation for individuals who make an exceptional impact in driving our success. Those who help us achieve our most ambitious goals will share directly in the value they create. This can result in genuinely life-changing benefits as the company continues its growth journey.

The Role

This is a key position within our UK operations, responsible for managing and expanding our national network of collector partners who purchase vehicles through our platform. You’ll oversee around 80 existing collector accounts across the UK, ensuring each one performs at its full potential, while also identifying and onboarding new collectors to expand our reach and improve conversion rates and profitability.

The role combines relationship management, sales, commercial negotiation, and growth strategy. You’ll spend much of your time speaking with collectors, analysing performance data, and negotiating pricing, with regular visits to yards around the country to strengthen relationships and ensure competitiveness. Over time, you’ll also have the chance to support our growing US operations and help develop relationships with new international collectors.

This position is ideal for someone commercially minded, ambitious, and excited by the idea of being part of a fast-scaling automotive business where performance is recognised and rewarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with around 80 active collector accounts across the UK
  • Onboard new collectors to strengthen regional coverage and improve competitiveness
  • Negotiate pricing and performance targets to ensure market-leading results nationwide
  • Analyse performance data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Visit yards and collector sites to strengthen partnerships and increase buying volume
  • Work closely with sales, customer services and data teams to optimise collector performance
  • Assist collectors with the usage of our bespoke collector software, providing pointers and information as part of the onboarding and ongoing support process.
  • Support the expansion of the collector network into the US over time

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in the automotive industry, ideally in scrap, salvage or vehicle sales
  • Proven success in account management, Sales, business development, or B2B relationship roles
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics and act on insights
  • Self-motivated, commercially aware, and capable of working independently
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required
  • Ambitious and eager to grow within a company that rewards high performance

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive base salary of £58,000 – £70,000 depending on experience & skill set
  • Realistic OTE of up to £100,000+ with uncapped potential
  • Significant opportunity for career progression as the business expands across the UK and US
  • Flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK
  • The chance to play a key role in shaping the next phase of a market-leading, fast-growing business

Benefits and Perks

  • Company pension package
  • Comprehensive wellbeing and employee support programme
  • Access to discounted gym memberships and on-demand GP service
  • Retail and leisure discounts across leading brands
  • Opportunities for professional development and funded training
  • Regular company organised team meet-ups and company events throughout the year
  • Annual summer and Christmas celebrations
  • Free on-site parking
  • Discounted garage services for vehicle owners
  • Counselling and financial assistance helplines
