Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Manchester, M8
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: £14.25 to £16.65 per hour
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (chance for perm)

Reeson Education is looking for a caring, enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful and nurturing EYFS setting at a truly fantastic primary school in the heart of M8, Manchester. This EYFS Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and starts as soon as possible. This is EYFS Teaching assistant role requires you to have a level 2 or 3 Qualification

This EYFS Teaching Assistant will be based within the EYFS, supporting in Reception. You will assist with class activities, lead small group interventions, and provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs. Key Responsibilities for the EYFS Teaching Assistant:
* Work as an EYFS Teaching Assistant in Reception.
* Deliver small group interventions, 1:1 support, and general class assistance.
* Support learning through play, early phonics, and basic number activities.
* Foster a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Provide tailored support for children with social, emotional, and developmental needs.

The Ideal EYFS Teaching Assistant Will:
* Be a passionate and engaging EYFS Teaching Assistant with EYFS experience and have a level 2 or 3 TA qualification or equivalent.
* Have a sound understanding of child development and early years frameworks.
* Be creative, adaptable, and confident working across different EYFS settings.
* Be able to support children with a wide range of needs, including SEND.
* Show excellent teamwork and communication skills.

EYFS Teaching Assistant Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
* Right to work in the UK.
* Recent references covering the last 2-3 years.
* A genuine passion for working in EYFS as a Teaching Assistant.
