The role combines programme leadership, stakeholder engagement, systems implementation, and change management to drive improvements in productivity, technology adoption, and operational performance.

Client Details

This opportunity is with a large international manufacturing business that supplies essential everyday consumer products to major retailers and brands across multiple markets. The organisation operates a complex network of manufacturing sites and is investing significantly in operational excellence, digital transformation, and business-wide change programmes to improve efficiency, productivity, and long-term growth.

The business has an established Transformation function responsible for delivering strategic change across manufacturing operations, systems, and business processes. With a sizeable portfolio of programmes underway, this role offers the chance to work on high-impact initiatives, collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions, and play a key role in shaping the future direction of the organisation.

Description

  • Lead the end-to-end management of strategic programmes, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee systems implementation projects, ensuring seamless integration into existing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change management initiatives and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Utilise data and analytics to measure programme progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure alignment with operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with programme delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports and updates to senior stakeholders.

Profile

A successful Programme Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in programme management within the FMCG or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in Systems Implementation.
  • Solid understanding of data and analytics to support decision-making.
  • Expertise in managing organisational change and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project planning skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
