Your new company

This specialist law firm is recognised for its expertise in handling complex, high-value catastrophic injury claims. Due to continued growth and an increasing volume of instructions, the firm is seeking an experienced solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE to join its specialist team. The practice is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for clients through a low-volume, high-quality caseload model that allows solicitors to focus on delivering outstanding service and achieving the best possible results.

Retrains are welcomed from those from industrial disease and clinical negligence backgrounds for those with strong multi-track and client care experience.

The firm operates a largely home working structure, and you will be expected to attend the office a minimum of once a fortnight. Exceptions may be made for strong candidates further afield.

Your new role

You will manage a small caseload of complex, high-value brain injury claims on behalf of clients across England and Wales. The role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and rewarding cases in the market, with a strong emphasis on client care, rehabilitation and long-term support for injured individuals and their families.
This is a predominantly home-based position, with occasional travel nationwide for client visits, hospital appointments and other case-related meetings. You will work closely with a highly experienced team and receive ongoing support to further develop your expertise within this specialist area.

What you'll need to succeed

Applications are welcomed from solicitors with a background in:

  • Serious and catastrophic injury
  • Clinical negligence
  • Industrial disease
  • Other complex multi-track litigation

You should possess:

  • A minimum of 6 years' PQE, although applications from more experienced candidates are encouraged
  • Qualified Solicitor or Charetered Legal Executive with full litigation rights
  • Experience handling complex, high-value claims involving challenging causation issues
  • Strong multi-track litigation experience
  • Exceptional client care and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable clients and their families
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex legal and medical issues
  • A genuine willingness to learn and develop specialist expertise in brain injury litigation
  • Previous brain injury experience is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

What you'll get in return

  • The opportunity to specialise in a highly regarded and rewarding area of law
  • A genuinely manageable caseload focused on quality rather than volume
  • Exposure to high-value, complex litigation
  • Predominantly home-based working with flexibility and autonomy
  • A supportive and collaborative environment with excellent training and development opportunities
  • Clear long-term career progression linked to the continued growth of the business
  • Competitive salary and benefits package
