HSEQ Advisor - Manchester - £ + Package - Industrial Services / Construction

Are you an experienced HSEQ professional who enjoys being out on site, influencing safety culture and driving continual improvement?

Do you hold a NEBOSH qualification and have experience implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems?

Are you comfortable travelling across the UK and Ireland, supporting operational teams and building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels?

Do you have experience conducting audits, investigations, risk assessments and ensuring compliance with ISO and legislative requirements?

If the answers are yes, we are hiring for a HSEQ Advisor on behalf of a leading engineering and industrial services organisation.

WHAT YOU NEED....

NEBOSH IGC, Diploma or equivalent HSEQ qualification

Previous HSEQ Advisor, Compliance Officer or similar experience

Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and management systems

Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations

Knowledge of ISO and 45001 standards

Ability to influence operational teams and promote a positive safety culture

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays

Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001)

Membership of IOSH, IIRSM or a recognised HSEQ professional body

Experience within power generation, engineering, industrial services, utilities or heavy industry

Training delivery experience

Experience undertaking root cause analysis investigations

The Day To Day...

Supporting operational teams across multiple sites

Conducting audits, inspections and compliance reviews

Investigating accidents, incidents and near misses

Producing reports and analysing HSEQ performance data

Developing risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation

Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ management systems

Engaging with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure best practice is maintained

Promoting a positive, proactive and compliant safety culture across the business
