Are you a South America travel expert with a passion for wildlife, adventure and unforgettable experiences? My client are looking for an experienced South America Travel Specialist to join an ambitious, independent specialist travel business, creating exceptional bespoke journeys for discerning, high-value clients.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the full sales journey - from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking - using your expert destination knowledge to design bespoke South American adventures.

You'll be responsible for:

• Converting inbound enquiries into high-value bookings
• Creating bespoke itineraries and travel proposals
• Providing expert advice across destinations including Brazil, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Patagonia, Ecuador and the Galápagos
• Building strong, long-term relationships with private clients
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Developing relationships with DMCs, operators, lodges and specialist suppliers
• Keeping your destination knowledge fresh and bringing new ideas to the business

Once you've secured the booking, the company have a dedicated admin and accounts team to take over - so you can get straight back to selling and looking after your clients.

Experience required;

We're looking for someone who:

• Has extensive personal travel experience across South America
• Has proven experience in travel sales, ideally handling high-value bookings
• Is passionate about wildlife, wilderness, adventure and responsible travel
• Has excellent destination knowledge and itinerary-building skills
• Is commercially driven, organised and highly motivated
• Builds genuine, lasting client relationships
• Is confident working independently while being a great team player
• Is creative, proactive and keen to contribute ideas
• Has experience with CRM systems and itinerary-building software such as Wetu (desirable)

• Up to £40,000 basic salary
