SharePoint Developer Engineer Manchester - 5 days a week onsite

£57,000 - £62,000

We're seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer Engineer to join a leading digital and collaboration team delivering innovative Microsoft 365 solutions for enterprise clients. This role will focus on designing, developing and supporting modern SharePoint applications, integrating business-critical systems, and driving digital workplace solutions using SharePoint Online, SPFx and the wider Microsoft technology stack.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong SharePoint specialist who enjoys building custom solutions, solving complex technical challenges, and working directly with stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain custom SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Build modern SharePoint applications and components using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Integrate SharePoint with third-party business systems, APIs and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Develop and support automated business processes using Power Platform technologies, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Work with Microsoft Graph and REST APIs to deliver enhanced functionality and user experiences.
  • Provide 3rd Line technical support and troubleshooting for complex SharePoint issues.
  • Support SharePoint migrations and modernisation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure solutions follow best practice, security standards and governance requirements.
  • Act as a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert, providing guidance and technical leadership across projects.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience developing solutions within SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments.
  • Proven expertise with SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • Commercial experience using React, TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Experience integrating SharePoint with external systems and APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph and REST APIs.
  • Experience working with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Understanding of Azure AD authentication and OAuth.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
