Dutch Speaking Business Travel Consultant - Manchester

Location: Manchester - Flexi Hybrid

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 DOE

Hours: Mon-Fri, shifts from 8am to 6pm

Are you an experienced Business Travel Consultant who speaks Dutch and enjoys delivering a first-class service to corporate clients?

We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an established business travel organisation, offering a flexi-hybrid working model from their Manchester office.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced business travel professional who enjoys working with corporate clients, handling complex travel requirements and using their industry knowledge to find the best travel solutions.

The Role

As a Dutch Speaking Business Travel Consultant, you'll be responsible for managing travel requests from corporate clients from enquiry through to ticketing and completion.

• Handling business travel enquiries and reservations in line with individual client travel policies
• Providing knowledgeable advice and suitable travel options
• Making and managing air, rail, hotel and other travel arrangements
• Processing e-tickets and travel documentation
• Handling fares, ticketing, changes and amendments
• Managing refunds and cancellations
• Monitoring and actioning queues
• Ensuring tickets are issued within required deadlines
• Providing accurate itinerary and fare information
• Building and maintaining accurate traveller profiles
• Researching itineraries and identifying cost-effective travel options
• Arranging additional services including hotels, car hire, transfers and parking
• Responding to online and email enquiries
• Building strong relationships with clients and delivering consistently high levels of service

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous Business Travel Consultant experience
• Excellent knowledge of fares and ticketing
• GDS experience - Sabre experience would be highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong telephone and written communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple requests and prioritise effectively
• Experience working to strict deadlines
• A calm and professional approach under pressure
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Fluent Dutch language skills

Ideally, you'll have around 2 years' experience in a client-facing business travel environment, although relevant experience and strong GDS/ticketing knowledge will also be considered.
