We are currently recruiting for experienced Gas Engineers to join a long-term 5-year social housing refurbishment and maintenance programme in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified Gas Engineers looking for consistent, long-term work on a major housing programme.
Duties will include:
- Domestic gas servicing and maintenance
- Boiler installation, servicing and repairs
- Gas appliance installation and replacement
- Fault finding and remedial works
- Central heating and hot water systems
- Working within occupied residential properties
- Completing relevant certification and paperwork
- Liaising professionally with tenants
- Working alongside other trades and site teams
Requirements:
- Valid Gas Safe registration
- Relevant domestic gas qualifications
- Current CCN1 and appropriate appliances/ACS qualifications
- Previous experience within social housing or refurbishment is desirable
- Own tools and PPE
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable and professional approach
Long-term work available, with the programme expected to run for approximately 5 years.
