Primary EYFS Teaching Assistant - #2138014

Early Years Teaching Assistant (EYFS)I am working with a large, welcoming primary school in Stockport that is looking to appoint a temporary Early Years Teaching Assistant to support children within its thriving EYFS provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping young children take their first steps in education, within a school that is committed to providing an engaging, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
What you'll be doing

• Supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage to access learning through play-based and adult-led activities
• Working closely with class teachers and the wider EYFS team to deliver high-quality learning experiences
• Supporting children's social, emotional, language and physical development
• Helping to create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment both indoors and outdoors
• Encouraging children's confidence, independence and curiosity through positive interactions
• Supporting early literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Observing, monitoring and recording children's progress against EYFS learning goals
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping children develop strong relationships with their peers
• Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times
• Who we're looking for
• Experience of working with young children, ideally within an EYFS, nursery or primary school setting
• A genuine passion for supporting children's early learning and development
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
• A caring, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enthusiastic, proactive and able to use initiative when supporting children's learning
• Committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can thrive
• Dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
