An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and client-focused Development Executive to join a well-established regional insurance broker as they continue to strengthen their presence across the North West market.

This role offers the chance to play a key part in the ongoing regional growth strategy, developing long-term client relationships while helping to expand the broker's footprint across the commercial insurance sector.

The Role
As Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial insurance clients across the North West, while building trusted, long-term relationships founded on service, advice, and client retention.
Working within a respected national broker, you will have access to strong market relationships, internal support, and the autonomy to develop your own network and portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and win new commercial insurance business across the North West region

• Build long-term relationships with clients through a consultative and client-first approach

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients across multiple sectors

• Work closely with internal broking and support teams to deliver tailored insurance solutions

• Represent the business within the regional market and wider insurance community

• Contribute towards the continued growth and regional development of the business

About You

• Proven experience within the Commercial Insurance industry

• Strong cross-class commercial insurance knowledge

• Demonstrable business development and client relationship management experience

• A client-centric approach with a focus on long-term partnerships

• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills

• Ambitious, self-motivated, and commercially minded

• Experience working within a broker environment would be highly advantageous
