Business Development Manager – Coffee

Location: Manchester + NW

Salary: C£50k + £8k car allowance + Bonus

Client:

• Category-leading premium coffee business with a strong reputation across the Away from Home market.
• Significant investment behind both brand growth and customer development.
• A high-performing and collaborative culture that empowers individuals to make an impact.
• Experiencing continued growth across HORECA, Multi-site operators and foodservice channels.
• Now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support the next phase of growth.

Role:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of HORECA customers across Manchester and the NW.
• A balanced role combining c.40% account management and 60% new business development.
• Work closely with the sales teams to unlock opportunities with regional and national customers.
• Target larger multi-site operators across hospitality and leisure, including pub groups, hotel chains, café groups, office coffee solutions and leisure operators.
• Drive sales of both coffee products and equipment solutions.
• Build strong joint business plans, deliver growth initiatives and identify new routes to market.
• Highly customer-facing role with regular time spent in trade.

They require:

• Proven experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.
• Background within coffee, foodservice, hospitality, drinks, wholesale or FMCG.
• Experience managing distributor, wholesale or indirect customer relationships.
• Strong relationship-building and new business skills.
• Energetic, proactive and comfortable managing a field-based territory.
• Full UK driving license.
