What you’ll do

You'll design electrical systems for buildings, covering everything from small power and lighting to fire alarms and security systems.

Using Amtech and AutoCAD, you’ll produce detailed designs, specifications and working drawings. You’ll also head to site to survey, write technical reports and monitor progress, giving you hands-on experience that few positions offer.

Meeting with clients and contractors, you’ll shape projects from start to finish, building your influence and visibility in the industry.

What you’ll need

At least 5 years’ experience in electrical building services design

Consultancy experience, so you’re familiar with client-facing work

Proficiency in Amtech and AutoCAD, as these will be your main tools
