Early Years Teaching Assistant - Reception & Nursery Support
Manchester & Surrounding Areas | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities | Aspire People
Aspire People are currently recruiting Early Years Teaching Assistants to support Nursery and Reception pupils across a range of primary schools in Manchester and the surrounding areas.
This role would suit someone who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys helping young children build the confidence, communication, and independence needed for a successful start to school.
The Role May Include:
* Supporting children through play-based learning activities
* Assisting with early phonics, communication, and numeracy development
* Supporting pupils with routines, transitions, and personal development
* Helping children develop social and emotional skills
* Supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs
* Encouraging positive behaviour and independence
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider support team
* Observing and feeding back on pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working in an Early Years, Nursery, or Reception setting
* A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification is desirable
* A good understanding of early childhood development
* A patient, creative, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Confident supporting young children with different needs
* A genuine passion for helping children learn through play
