Position: Arc Welder

Location: North West England (Field Based)

Salary: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

About the Role

Time Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Arc Welder to join our clients team, covering sites across the North West. This is a mobile role requiring travel to various customer locations, carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Arc (MMA) welding to a high standard.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform on-site welding, repairs, and fabrication work.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the North West as required.

Requirements

Essential

• Proven experience as an Arc Welder.
• Experience with field based tasks
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety standards.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• Relevant welding certifications/qualifications.
• Experience working on-site within industrial, construction, or engineering environments.
• Multi-skilled welding experience would be advantageous.
