Private Family Paralegal | Specialist Family Law Team

The Role:
You will support solicitors on a varied caseload of Private Family Law matters, including:
Divorce and separation proceedings
Financial remedy and matrimonial finance matters
Private children law cases
Child Arrangements Orders
Domestic abuse and protective injunction applications
Cohabitation and relationship disputes
Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
Cases involving high-net-worth individuals and complex asset structures
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting fee earners with the management of family law files
Drafting legal documents, court forms and correspondence
Liaising with clients, courts, barristers and other professionals
Preparing hearing bundles and supporting case preparation
Conducting legal research and administrative case management tasks
Ensuring exceptional levels of client care throughout the life of a matter
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working within a Family Law team as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Family Law.
Strong organisational and case management skills.
Excellent drafting, communication and client care abilities.
The ability to manage priorities effectively in a busy environment.
A professional, empathetic and client-focused approach.
Experience in private family law matters would be advantageous but is not essential.
A Law Degree, LPC, SQE or equivalent legal qualification.
