ERP Cutover & Deployment Manager

Lead the Critical Transition to a New Enterprise Platform

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced ERP Cutover & Deployment Manager to play a pivotal role in a large-scale business transformation programme involving the implementation of a new cloud-based ERP platform.

This role is ideal for a delivery-focused professional with a proven track record of planning and executing complex ERP cutovers, coordinating data migration activities, and leading organisations through successful go-live events with minimal business disruption.

Working across technology, business and third-party delivery teams, you will take ownership of cutover strategy, deployment readiness, data migration execution and post-go-live support, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems into a modern ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Cutover Leadership

  • Define and own the overall cutover strategy and execution plan for a major ERP implementation.
  • Establish and manage go-live readiness criteria, ensuring all business and technical prerequisites are met.
  • Coordinate cross-functional cutover activities across business, IT and implementation partner teams.
  • Lead cutover governance, risk management, contingency planning and issue resolution.
  • Drive successful execution of dress rehearsals, mock cutovers and production go-live events.
  • Ensure minimal disruption to business operations throughout deployment activities.

Data Migration & Deployment

  • Lead end-to-end ERP data migration activities from planning through execution and hypercare.
  • Manage data cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation activities.
  • Coordinate business data owners, analysts and technical teams to deliver high-quality migration outcomes.
  • Oversee migration of data from multiple legacy applications into the new ERP environment and associated integrated systems.
  • Facilitate data workshops to gather requirements and define migration approaches.
  • Monitor data quality and drive remediation of data-related risks and issues.

Stakeholder & Programme Management

  • Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, project teams and delivery partners.
  • Provide clear reporting on deployment readiness, migration status, risks and dependencies.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into practical business-focused communications.
  • Collaborate with service transition and support teams to establish effective post-go-live support arrangements.
  • Lead hypercare planning and execution following deployment.

About You

You will bring substantial experience delivering enterprise-scale ERP deployments and possess a deep understanding of successful cutover management within transformation programmes.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience leading ERP cutovers and deployment activities within complex transformation programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering data migration workstreams for ERP solutions such as IFS, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cutover planning, operational readiness and go-live governance.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across business, technical and third-party delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of data migration methodologies including data cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
  • Excellent risk management, planning and organisational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement capability.

Desirable

  • Experience delivering cloud ERP implementations.
  • Background in large, multi-site or highly operational organisations.
  • Familiarity with service transition, hypercare and transitioning new platforms into BAU support.
  • Experience establishing data governance and data quality frameworks.

What's on Offer

  • Opportunity to lead a business-critical ERP transformation.
  • Significant ownership of cutover, deployment and migration strategy.
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders and strategic technology initiatives.
  • Collaborative and forward-thinking project environment.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
